Shasta Conservation Fund will be involved in partnering with local schools to educate citizens about efforts to conserve and protect Shasta County's open spaces and the species that depend on these natural landscapes.
Programs will include in-person presentations on various Natural Resources topics including
watershed restoration for plants and animal habitat, native plant and vernal pools, native and invasive species identification and wildfire prevention. Field trips to active restoration sites are available.
Volunteer at one of our conservation easements or active restoration sites! This is hands on and you will be provided with training and accompanied by staff. Make a meaningful difference and learn at the same time!
